Testimonial
The book provides practical things to do to yield quantifiable results.
After reading “The Successful Immigrant Woman”, it became clear to me that nothing splendid can ever be achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside them was superior to circumstance.
The author – Ify A Ngwudike- carefully expatiated the 8 transformational strategies an immigrant woman can use to achieve success in an unfamiliar environment. She clearly highlighted, among other things, that anyone who has control over his/her mind is tranquil in heat or cold weather, in pleasure or in pain, in honor and/or dishonor. If an immigrant wants to remain productive and vital, he/she has to develop an enthusiasm for life, create a need for and receive more life.
Immigrants and everyone really should use conscious, rational thought to decide what they want, select the goals they wish to achieve, and concentrate on them rather than on what they do not want. And when a decision is finally reached and execution is the order of the day, care only about the outcome. Any other thing should be absolutely dismissed from the mind.
The book provides practical things to do to yield quantifiable results. It opens a powerful door to gain skills, success, and happiness.
I, therefore, recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about self-improvement and how to make great achievements. The book is surprisingly affordable. Grab a copy – learn and enjoy like I did!

So much valuable information!
I’m reading your book now. So much information to think about.
I am ordering 4 more copies. There are several women that I work with that are new to Canada and I think the book would help them.

Loaded and impactful
I found this book thought-provoking and doing the exercises will help me as I continue my life journey and face the challenges that lie ahead. Even though I am not an immigrant woman, I think any woman would benefit from reading The Successful Immigrant Woman. I am certainly going to use what learn to plan and execute what I need to be a compassionate and effective CWL president in a couple of years. This was not my dream (I never felt I was capable), but now I know that only fear of a different direction can hold me back.
You are an amazing, encouraging, and inspirational woman and someone I am so blessed to have in my life. 💕💕🙏👍
I will be consulting your writing often as I continue on my life journey.
Thank you for sharing this book with me.
May God continue to bless you and your family. 🙏🙏

A must read!
I start by congratulating you on a job well done. From now on this book, The Successful Immigrant Woman will be inside my handbag (my toolbox), as I travel often in addition to my symbols of identity, plus treasured personal belongings.
It is thrilling to read. The storytelling aspect is a good habit to form, it clearly shows that dreams can be actualized through hard work and steadfastness.
I love the quotes therein, for example, “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page”- Augustine of Hippo
The raw facts exposed so well that choosing to transition to ‘Highflyer’ and not “Hack-back” or “Hamster-wheel” gets one empowered to adaptations once the road to immigration is viewed as a challenge and opportunities to seize and can lead to success for would-be immigrants.
Some highlights of the book that are fascinating to me most are the inclusions of:
- Practical tips within the chapters
- Abbreviations e.g. 4Rs, for clarity of assessment of how to keep going
- Acronyms, within the chapters- TRUE for True, Right, undeniable and excellent & MAPS- My Action Plant to [Effortless] Success
- The Actions- Some exercises & a workbook.
- Recap- brief summary of chapter
- Fun-facts- a strategy adopted in survival at the end of each chapter.
